Do Hard Things
Alex & Brett Harris
“Do Hard Things: A teenage rebellion against low expectations,” is a great book to motivate and educate, especially for teens. In a self-help style, the authors focus on the culture that today’s youth is fighting against. Where history revealed the teen years to be years of opportunity for real achievement, today they are neither challenged nor pushed to achieve. This book outlines problems and provides solutions to push past the boxes in which our society has placed today’s youth. We would recommend this book for any age!
Mr. Rod McNair used this book in his sermon, “Do Hard Things,” applying it to our Christian walk. Listen to the sermon below.
“There is a problem today, and that is that there is a cultural paradigm today. Many young people are not being challenged to do difficult things…something is wrong.”
~Rod McNair
